Our Fall 12 meeting schedule is below if anybody would like to stop in and see how you could benefit from this great experience.
The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) is a national
organization that excels to bring the newest and latest technologies
to the sky. At WMU, Pegasus is trying to accomplish this same goal.
Every year we compete in a Design, Build, and Fly competition in which
we spend most of our semester Designing and building a radio controlled
aircraft to be ready to fly at this year’s competition. Many hours
of hard work will be put into this plane, and our goal is to achieve
the best ranking possible out of the 100+ universities that are going
to be there. This is hands on engineering that will benefit us well
into the future. We can also do stuff other than just building a plane.
Have you ever thought about going to the Air Zoo, or flying an RC plane
just for recreation? We are planning to do activities like this too.
What about bringing in a guest speaker to talk to us about their experiences
with aeronautics and astronautics? It’s all on the agenda.
We are looking for anyone: engineers, aviation students, business, and
film/ photography…. The list goes on and on. So swing by the UAV
lab at the engineering campus, there is always something to do. We meet
on Thursdays at 6:30 pm.

Fall 2012 meetings are on Thursday's at 6:30 pm in F-209 at the Parkview Campus
